Product Marketing Manager

RiskRecon is in search of a Product Marketing Manager with cyber security experience. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in information security.

The position will report to the Senior Vice President, Marketing.


You will help lead RiskRecon’s product strategy by developing product content, (print and web) user manuals, product collateral, contributing to webinars, and all other product marketing related initiatives.

In addition you will synthesize product features, benefits and differentiators with and within marketing and product materials for a variety of business cases. You will manage a definitive yet continuous calendar of production of materials, and work with the product team to help assist with all materials and documentation for product launches to enable go-to-market activity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Marketing experience in a SaaS environment
  • 5+ years of cyber/information security marketing experience
  • Experience supporting sales, demand generation and events efforts with relative content
  • Experience writing appealing product copy and content for a variety of use cases that can be adopted for multi-channel production
  • Experience developing product use cases (vertical markets, specific feature-based use cases)
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Stellar organizational skills and ability to track against goals

Desired Skills:

  • Presentation experience (webinars, conferences)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup
  • Working directly with customers in a product capacity

  • Experience in a startup or technology environment is important, especially in the B2B market.
  • Good operational agility, with a strong sense of initiative to make things happen

  • We love people that can carefully manage several internal stakeholders – it can sometimes be tricky for product marketers to avoid being trampled over or, conversely, coming across as overly controlling. You’ll be operating at the intersection of marketing, product and sales, meaning interaction with senior leaders in all three departments. Being able to balance assertiveness and responsiveness is therefore a highly desirable skill for any candidate to have.
